Fulbright Foreign Scholarship: MSU student to travel to Malawi

On X, formerly Twitter, MSU Veterinary Medicine tweeted: Dr. Angel Abuelo, associate professor of cattle health, has been awarded the 2024 Foundation Scholar Award in Dairy Production from the American Dairy Science Association. The text is accompanied by a photo of Abuelo near dairy cows with text that says: Abuelo awarded 2024 Foundation Scholar Award in Dairy Production.

Spartans featured in the news

In the New York Times, Cara Poland, from the MSU College of Human Medicine, is featured for her work in spearheading a program that trains doctors in other disciplines to treat addiction, a chronic brain disorder that alters circuits involving reward and self-control.
